found a 86 sr5 turbo 4Runner 186000 mi, engine/transmission seem sound. digital dash works, electric windows/locks work. cracked dash and center consol, A/C and cruise do not work. minor rust but needs paint job. owner wants 2800 and wont take less than 2000. what do you think??? is it worth consideration??? I offered 1200

 

with turbo i would recomemder askign him to let you take it to a sho pto have it looked over befor you buy it alot of stuff can be wrong. My freind got a turbo fro 500 bucks because it woudl start and wouldnt hardly run cause the turbo would spit oil intothe motor and it would smoke upa storm. Anyway turbos are sweet and have major potential. The same guy that i know with a turbo now has 295 hp a 4wd pickup. If i am righ the turbos only had autos?? My friend had and auto but swap in a 5sp when he built it up.
