cant figure out what to go for:

either a tacoma or t100 or tundra 2wd manual tranny

2.7l or v6 engine (3.4l or 4.0l)?

which gets better mpg

short cab short bed is fine it will just be used for work as a daily and would like to stay below $5k

 

Do you need a truck to haul your tools around??

if not why a truck if your looking for fuel mileage ??

I never had luck with 2wd trucks

T100 it can be interesting to find parts at times.

Full size go with the Tundra want something smaller go Tacoma.

 

looking at 1st gen trucks so full size is not going to happen


yes i work on motorcycles and need a truck but i know the 22re trucks have ALOT better mileage than the 4x4 trucks whih is the only reason; ive had 4x4 trucks and they are all getting below 18mpg which sucks when you are a college student just using it for work no offroading

 

mainly just looking at the 95+ toyota pickups and whats the best truck with best engine and manual transmission
