I've seen a number of people make them out of plastic landscape edging material. I think you can find the stuff at home depot. It isn't flashy but it does the job of getting the fuzz off your back.

was gonna say the same thing... get a roll of black edging, cut into pieces and screw up with something quick just to get the ticket signed off... drywall screws would even go in well and hold long enough for that if going into fender well plastic... lol
don't know what they will say if you're pulled over a second time, and on record it shows previous ticket, corrected, then off again

must be something in the air here in BC, but i've been hearing alot of the VI's being handed out for unprotected tires. its funny, as there are so many other blatant rolling violations out on the streets...cops here just dont like tires that stick out. thats the main reason why i went with a stock wheel, to keep the pigs outta my hair (or should i say tires )
aside from the garden edging (that seems to work, if not the most visually appealing solution), you can check out some HD trucking shops. i've read they stock flare type edging, probably a universal kit that you can cut to length.
what truck is it for?
