my runningboards sold for over 100 bucks!

i was amazed. i thought by putting it up for 70 bucks, i was insane!

i looked yesterday, with 8 hours left, and still only one bid...
i had a couple people ask for more pictures, but nothing. then at school today on my break im in the lab, and i see freaking 6 bids!!!

im new to ebay and this is my first sale hehe. do i wait for them to pay me, then send it?
i charged 60 bucks for shipping, and i have no money right now. i wanted to know what to do?
i get their address, and when they pay me, i take their money to ups and send her out?

Never send anything until you've been paid in full. What type of payment are you waiting on? I only use PayPal when I do online transactions.

Either Paypal or, have the buyer send you a Cashiers check.

You'll have to figure out what UPS wants for shipping by taking them down and have them measure and weigh them.

Then send the buyer the total amount due.

When the check comes in, take it to your bank and have them verify it. Then ship the item.

I sold mine on ebay for $197.50. I couldn't believe it either.

For the box, go to your local toyota dealership and tell the parts manager your looking for a running board box. They add running boards to so many vehicles they should have one within a few days.

Damn - and I just bent my driver's side one last weekend and lost one of the rubber caps that molds to the wheel well the weekend before. Doh!

It cost me $70 via UPS from Tucson to Pittsburgh. I made my own box as well. Nice feeling selling something you no longer value for cold hard cash eh?

I took like 5 boxes, cut them to the size I needed, then wrapped them around the running boards....and sealed it all up with an entire roll of packaging tape!

The $$ will stay in your paypal account unless you make a transfer from there to your bank account. If you do, it will take a cpl of days. If you buy stuff on ebay or some place that uses paypal, they will use that money 1st.

The money is yours, now you need to send the boards pronto. By the way, I threw mine in the dump. How stupid was that?
