Mandrel Bent Exhaust?
Does anyone have any experience with using products from http://www.mandrel-bends.com/catalog/?
the Y pipe on my current set up has a rattle in it so I was thinking of just swapping out the whole piping to mandrel bent. I'd end up buying the 2.25 ultimate exhaust kit, 2.25 exhaust flanges x4, 2.25 6" long flex pipe, and a 2-1 V collector with a 2.50 outlet.

lol yeah, but im more going for the flow. I need to get a new Y pipe, and Im thinking of going Mandrel with that... plus Im gonna add a flex pipe and such. so why not just do the full kit? its only 200 bucks lol Im also bringing back my straight pipe. but im gonna have my stock catalytic converter innerchangeable, instead of a high flow.

haha thats what im talking bout!!! wish my parents would lemme make my hi-flow cat interchangeable, they say it will be way to loud with what i got on it now. lol but you must really love your exhaust man how much will you have in it with the new pipe?

lol Im indecisive with my exhaust. i keep changing it over and over and over again. but once i have this stock cat / staight pipe innerchangeablity im going to be done... there wont be any more to do to it. but i have about 1200 into it right now. the mandrel piping would put it at 1400.... atleast i know my head gasket will never blow, and it runs cold, right? I also plan on reusing my entire set up with a 3.4 swap, minus the headers. so... its all in all worth it, since its going to be on the truck forever.

haha im the same way. haha i went from a gutted stock cat and a flowmaster to a dynamax, to a cheap muffler, then hi flow cat and thrush glasspack, then straight pipes, then a 8" glasspack, then thrush turbo, and now a cherry bomb extreme. lol and im wanting to change now. haha

lol headers are a glorious thing. it doesn't make you fast but its alot better than stock. Im actually really curious to know if i could beat my brothers 3.4 with 4.88s and headers... but i guess we'll find out.

which part of my exhaust are you talking about? I have videos of my truck with no cat and one with a cat... I can letcha know right now, my set up is the deepest it'll ever go, unless you want the loppy noise, which you'd need to cam it.

lol i cringe at the thought of your gas mileage history.
I just looked at your sig. you basically have the same set up i do except, you have an 18" muffler... if its loud with that, it would be even louder with my 13.9" borla turbo muffler.

actually my mpgs aint too bad. if i keep my foot off the skinny pedal i can easily get 250 miles per tank and if its all highway i can get 300. what you getting? in that case i might get a big a$$ dynomax hemi turbo to quiet it down.

interesting. i have the same exhaust set up as you, no cam and I get 250 per tank on a good day... mostly its 200 mpg but i like the gas pedal. I can do 320+ if i do all freeway... but if im doing all freeway, i go in the slow lane and do 55 to keep RPMs at 2500
