I just finished install on an Aussie Locker for my Truck, and I LOVE IT!!! Many people recommended to me to weld the diff because of locker handling quirks. RUBBISH. The Aussie performs flawlessly. The occasional chirp on accel and the standard shift is harder sometimes, but otherwise, handling on pavement, dirt, it doesn't matter, it drives the same as before! No locker lane changes to speak of (what everyone warned me about). In tight turns on pavement, I hear the clicking, but turns are smooth under power. Sharp turns are not an issue. I think that for my $300 it was WELL spent. I am going to put one of these in every truck I own forever!
