Staring at that side profile, I'm very pleased at how well I lined everything up.

I would have bet money that my taping job would have sucked.

I RULE!

Looking at it from the back got me thinking. I wonder how it would look if you continue that line through the tailgate? I still think it looks killer!

I was thinking the black would just make it look like I had a huge body lift.
There is a blazer in town that has it and it makes it look like a body lift.

Yeah, it looks good. I have had better luck with the Herculiner brand than Duplicolor but the applications were a bit diff.

Prep.
If your painting or bed lining anything it's all in the prep work.

I did the floors in my old rig, prepped the hell out of it and put on 3-4 coats. It didn't peel anywhere.

If you're gonna do another coat, why not hit the bumpers - they stick out like a sore thumb now...

And yes, the black will make it look like you have a lot more ground clearance (at least I think it does on mine)

If I did the bumpers, I would have to dechrome the entire truck. I'm just not up for that task right now.

Plans are partly in the works for tube bumpers. I have access to a tube bender and a new welder (the one that wabbit is going to buy) along with someone who owes me a favor and is anxious to use them both for the first time
