I think I stole it from him, but I just won't tell him!

 

well first off im new here and the names alex.

bought my 96 SR5 in March for $4800 with 145000 miles on it. forest green with tan leather. only downside is its 2wd. tires were bald, and drivers seat had a humongous hole in it (which i fixed), but other than that great. definitely a great find, especially for my first car.

I bought my '98 SR5 4wd, 142k miles for $8200 earlier this year from my mechanic and it runs like it's brand new! No squeaks, rattles, or leaks. By far the best purchase I've made. And I wasn't even a Toyota guy back then! But now...

 

5500 in december for my 94 3.0 auto sr5 w/ leather and big tire package. 169000 miles when i bought it.

 

In 2002, I paid $2750 for my 1987 4runner with a rusted out exhaust, some frnt and rear fender rust, crappy tires, and 245K miles on it. If I could do it all over again, I would have gotten an '85 extended cab, bobbed it and gone from there.

 

I paid 1700 for my 94 runner 3.0L. Already put almost 4000 in repairs alone, haven't even gotten to the fun stuff yet. Learning how to use bondo is fun though.
