Angry horn will not work

hey there you all seem pretty knowledgeable so................

i have a 1990 toyota 4runner

the horn doesnt work

have power to the horn
if i disconect one side i lose power to both sides,,,,,so im figuring this is poer comming in.

if i ground the horn out at the horn it blows.https://www.yotatech.com/forums/imag...s/headbang.gif

if i ground it out at the wire that connects to the underside of the steering wheel i get nothing.

thought it was maybe a horn relay
looked in all the books i could get my hands on and nothing at all about the horn or wiring for the horn......no wiring diagrams anywhere.........
so i call the dealer........haha........they say the horn relay is down by driver side kickpanel above the taillight relay........well i had already tore into that and there is nothing above the taillight relay...................
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....Help!https://www.yotatech.com/forums/imag...s/banghead.gif

Thanks for any comments

umm yes the steering wheel "press" is the switch-so the power has to come in and then leave that "switch" to send the power to the horn(s)

hope that makes sense....

I'd say its your crankshaft...

But on my truck the horn only blows when the steering wheel is turned to the left. I don't know what year your truck is but try turning your wheel to see if it makes contact anywhere.

Did you resolve this?

Did you fix your horn issue? What was the problem?
