Help! Lift and tire question???
ok i currently have a stock suspension and am running 31x10.5 on 15x8 mickey thompson rims they stick out a bit and im running them without any rubbing, if i go with 33x10.5 tires and i lift it one inch with a one inch body lift i should be able to clear the 33's because they are the same width just taller therefore the one inch should clear them without any problems??? im thinking go up 2 inches so 1 inch all the way around the tire so 1 inch body lift??? am i right or wrong???

i did search however it says i can fit 33x10.5 with no lift on stock rims, i was wondering what i would need for the rims i have now they have a 3.75" backspacing and just about miss the front valance when i turn.

the thing that you will want to measure is clearance under compression & turned. If you have your rims sticking out then that wil change the whole equation. I would probably start a new thread about the backspacing. When you start one about lift & not give all the details people will tend to ignore it. What is your measurements between the tire & any fender valence etc. now?

Well your getting 33x10.5's soo even with 3.75 backspacing you should in theory be fine. I have 32x11.5 and i clear my valance by a half an inch. I trimed mine for better approach angle though and cuz of later 33x12.5's . But if they do rub with 33x10.5 then you can just slightly trim your valence where it rubs. Simple as that.
