2 gen rear window switch relocation

anybody ever relocate thier elect. rear window switch on a 2 gen. runner?
i want to get from between the seat to one of the 2 blank switch hole
to the left of the steering wheel on the dash. just want to know if its doable
before i rip thing a part. want to make cup holders in the center console.

I did mine as I was making a cupholder dealy in the center area...... but truck got totalled about 2 weeks afterward so I have no pictures.

It was easy enough... I had to extend some wires as even after I released the clips and ties, there was not enough slack to get it there without.

ya and you can avoid the constant buildup of sticky crap that gets spilled on the switch. (ive cleaned mine no less than twice already)

I moved the lockout switch at the same time.

exactly why i want to move it + i'm going to drill holes for the cupholder.
