Help on adjusting new headlights
I bought some Sylvania Silver Star headlights yesterday and had no problem installing them. I noticed today that I had knocked one out of adjustment when in did the install. I see the adjustment screws and even read all the forums on how to get to the adjustment screws but my question is...what is the best method of adjusting them if you have a lift kit. I was just wondering if you go the standard method of adjusting them or if there are any adjustments/additions that you have to allow for when installing on a vehicle with a lift kit. I have a 1" lift kit on 31's...maybe this is a valid question or maybe just an uneducated pondering by a youthful weekend warrior mechanic. Just wanting someone to set me straight on this topic.

If one is OK and the other out, pull up to a garage door or wall and line up the out of whack light with the good one. Get the height adjustment the same and then if the side-side is out, adjust it for straight ahead. I tend to aim mine a little lower than the "standard" adjustment both to keep from blinding oncoming traffic as well as make the lights work better in poor visibility. Some other tips:
