I have a trailgear front bumper with stinger. I want to cut off the stinger or at least cut the supports and move them in some because they block light from my headlights. Does anyone know if the pipe that the stinger is welded to has a hole cut in it to fit the stinger in before they weld it. Or was the stinger welded on top? Basically if I cut it will there be a hole that needs to be patched or can I just throw some paint on and be done?


Or does anyone have a pipe bumper without stinger they would be interested in trading for a bumper with stinger?

 

Cut it off and grind it smoothe. No hole behind it.

 

Thought so, just wanted to double check before I took a grinder to my bumper.
