grease while replacing tie rod boots?

When I replace the boots, I usually add some ball joint chassis grease to the inner ball joint. Should I also
turn the steering wheel completely right and add grease to as many of the rack splines/teeth that i can reach?

note these pics are not mine, just pics I found on internet to illustrate: https://imgur.com/a/iAxi78S

Also, can I use standard worm roller clamp for the large end?

When you purchased your new boots, did you not get clamps? I have always preferred to use crimp clamps for boots. Not sure I have any real data to tell me they are better than a worm drive, but generally I feel the crimp style clamps present less risk of cutting or tearing a boot (boots are less sturdy than most hoses). Just my $0.02

I would not go overboard on grease.
