I am experinceing some difficulties with my weber 32/36 running to rich at idle and i was told it could be related to my fuel pump. My current setup is an electric facet fuel pump connected to a dail flomax pressure regulator and everytime i turn the ignition to the on postion it makes a loud knocking sound for 5 to 10 seconds. I was told that the best pump for my 32/36 would be a Carter 4070 4 PSI 60/70GPH by www.webercarbs.com. What does everyone think? My truck currently isnt passing emissions at idle on both HC and CO and the fuel pump setup looks pretty sketch.
