Frame rusted
#3
Thanks Wyoming9, I've been to a few welding places & they're quoting me at least 1000.00 in labor plus parts , the rusted /broken rail is where the left sway bar attaches to the frame & it's right next to the gas tank, so that'll have to be dropped before the can attempt to do anything, i've had it since 1999, & only have 160.000 miles on it, & it runs great, I'm stumped, i'll have to put some serious thought on what i'm going to do

Pictures would be a great help !!
I can see maybe getting 10 to 12 hours labor Plus what other damage might be found
Gotta be some Members that fabricate up on the North side or Southern Wisc.
Hard call to make !!
Repair Costs compared to replacement
Best of Luck

Jacky poo, I've searched junk yards across the country & found many frames that they say are grade A, from anywhere from 300.00- 600.00, without shipping, but the cost to remove axels, trans, transfer case, motor, brake lines, gas tank etc. would cost an arm & a leg, it would be like a frame up restoration project
