evolution of my truck

hi guys its been a while since i was last on here,i apologise if this is in the wrong section. ive been a bit busy.ive got lots of work done on the truck.still got a few cooling issues to deal with but im getting there.ive been looking through this great site of yours and you guys have some awsome rigs.so heres a few pics and updates of my truck.still a lot more to do hoping to get an exo cage fitted real soon.
so heres the truck as i bought it

a few months later

in goes the rover/tvr hybrid motor

engine in a finished

land cruiser springs/adj panhard rod.+3 es9000s all round.

light bar and home made front fender,sliders.

respray and nearing completion.


and new tyres fitted this is how it looks uptodate.

that surf is pretty awesome, but i agree with crbocaj, the hood scoop is not my cup of tea (no pun intended). Other than the hood the truck is sick, great job!

the dual snorkels are an interesting approach. The black on black with the bumpers and sliders are definately better than with the neon green...
Curious about the brand of tire, doubt they are available in the states but they have got a cool tread pattern...
Oh yeah your steering wheel is on the wrong side

Have fun and post up some wheeling shots when you get the chance....

All that work and you still couldn't get the steering wheel on the right side.

Looks good... must really stand out over there.

Gotta agree w/ everyone about the hood scoop, but that rig is awesome, i think the snorkles are b.a. looking thru the pics i was afraid the truck was gonna turn out green =P im lovin the black on black tho

its a bit TVR sports car and a bit rover v8.heres the exact build

Clevite 77 bearing Set,
stage four ported and polished,port matched,tvr late type 28cc heads ultra large inlet and exhaust valves 1.68"inlet and 1.455"exhaust.bronze guides.cloyes duplex timing gear and chain.rhoads solid lifters with adjustable pushrods.crowes competition cam cant remember the number or grind but its a good one.worth about 20 bhp.mallory optical distributor and igniton pack.holley 390 cfm race carb mech secondaries with upgraded powervalve,sitting on an offy 360 dual plane manifold,um i think that about it cant remember much more does that help.ive got a laughing gas system but ive not fitted it yet,its a 100 shot progressive system.

i really like the snorkels

how many times a week do you get asked what they are? or do you hear people say they are speakers, exhaust, camera's? it almost makes me want to take my snorkel off and do the internal snorkel thing!! now i just need someone to run into my right fender....

Wow, very nice build!
Unfortunatly I have to agree on the hood, the kinda wavy look is wierd.
Would have tried to smooth it in better and make it one err.. bump

any videos?
