thanks so much. i tried enginebuilders.com but the web sold all sorts of home improvement things etc...thook (hubby) says that is the right place...your link looks different...

need to order head gasket and bolts today...looks like after a year and such a badddddddddddd rebuild (not our choice, long previous threads on it) we might finally be rounding the bend. going to make sure we replace everything that needs to be replaced *before* and get a qualified machine shop to do what needs to be done.

it will be interesting to see if in fact the engine was actually rebuilt. if it was, the fellow had not a clue.

darn, just looked at the site...can't see that i can order a head gasket with bolts for the 3.0...am i missing something?

 

The Valve grind gasket set (head gaskets) is $104 and you will have to call him Monday AM to get the bolts. He usually has a head gasket set+bolts listed on EBay but he doesn't have them listed right now. If you call him he will get them shipped out quickly. He will also answer Emails sent to his web site usually 7 days a week IIRC.

 

hi, and thanks. we did find him on ebay and he did have a set listed. least i hope so as i paid for the set *grin*. feel very comfortable ordering thru him...one of the benefits of forums like this and sharing of knowledge.
