Put a sprinkler under it and go take a nap.

Yes you can spray it down. Just try not to put any high pressure on the distributor.

Yep, you dont want water in there. Cover it with a plastic bag and tape it closed.

is there a way to put a snorkel on a carb'd truck???..

is there a kit or would it all have to be booty fab'd???

seems like it would be pretty simple to do..but i would want it to look like a kit, as in i wouldnt wanna use PVC pipe or something lol..

i dont go through deep water very often, but every now and then when im tryin out a new trail with my friends we come across a hole thats a little bit deeper than what im comfortable with to say the least,

i'd just like to have a snorkel to make me feel better on the inside basically (and they look BADA$$ HAHAHA)

i already know about the water proofing of the engine bay..the fuse block and the distributor cap the di-electric grease on the plugs and such

ohh jeez..now i done jacked somebody's thread sorry bout that 4yoter

Lol its ok I approve the jack. I have always loved the look of snorkels and want to put on on my 4runner but it would be really pointless seing how her in tucson, AZ we get rain like one time a year. Best of luck with yours
