I'll try. on the toyotas 4 cyl. t-case its two parts the front part is the reduction part the back is the transfer part. the fron case is split in half and then bolted to an adapter witch is then bolted to the front of the rear case then the whole unit is bolted to the trans. that is the simple answer there is a little more to it.

ok so it goes trany bam! then you bolt on a trans boom .. then of corse it goes ransfer again? then drive shaft??? so when your in 4lo you just bearly move anywhere?? case in my truck now in 5th gear pulling 4500 rpms im only going like 30mph and with two trasfers same thing but going only like 15 mph at 45oorpms?? wow take that hill climb!!!!

Well tranny, crawl box (thats what they call the gear part of the case after its apart) adapter then t-case. not so good for the hill climbs as it is for crawling over truck sized rocks where the extra low gear is needed.
i hope that helps a little.

yeah im getting there so then how would normal 4wd work then just leave the frist tcase in 2wd and the rear case in 4wd? im just so confused on this but hey thats why i asked this question right

the first case is only hi and low now so you put the first case in high and the second case in what ever range you need hi range for snow covered streets then low range for off road then low low range for crawling around.

oh i so got to get one then but how would the shifters work you'll have the first shifter then the sec? or a switch to control the hi and low box? and what about the drive shafts do you need custom ones or can you use stock cause i have a spare transfer case and it dont really look to hard to do when i repalce the transmission......oh and thanks man your so my new friend wanna go wheeling some time?

you will now have three sticks looking at you from the floor. you will have to modify your drive shafts lengthen the front and shorten the rear, you also have to get or fab a new cross member to support both cases.
