Dually Toyota?
#4
It was called a cab and chassis. Sold by Toyota with just a cab and chassis, no bed of any kind. You usually see them as U-haul trucks, box trucks, flat beds, or RV's.

try giving this guy a shout:
Mike: 4xtoys@telus.net
he might have something for you, runs a toyota graveyard in Coalhurst AB
Are you sure a turbo booster won't work? The turbo booster has a smaller diameter than a V6 booster, but it's thicker.

My husband and I just picked up a toyota dually last night. 86 model with an actual bed sides and all, it looked to be factory made.. I can't tell any difference. Can't find any info on it at all. Any help is greatly appreciated as this is a project car. Thanks.

From what I understand, the ONLY dually rear end truck was sold as a cab and chassis. Then later they were converted to u-haul trucks, motorhomes, etc.
The 1 ton truck is just a single rear wheel.
All those beds on the dually rear end were aftermarket. Probably just a cab and chassis DRW with a custom made bed.
