Deckplate Mod

After spending way to much time to fab up the deckplate mod for my T100, the box is different than the tacos/runners and the plate barely fits after hacking it and the box up is it (picture 1)

Possible to:

1. Perhaps install the deckplate on the top portion of this kind of airbox (see attached pic), think it really matters if its in the frontof or closer to the MAF? I think this is the single best idea and all I need is the airbox. But I dont know if air being that close the MAF is a good idea-I would be using a filter though, but the air filter itself is bypassed really, the sensor is located after the box (see picture 2).

2. Just swap to a 3.4L runner/taco box instead? Maybe drill some holes in the body and mount it if the holes dont line up?

3. Last idea: using the picture as a guide, perhaps install the deckplate but create a spacer offset the problem with the filter not fitting (deckplate sits to high).

Reason I ask is b/c right now I managed to do a hackjob and I'm not very happy with to it. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...8#post50336048

Basically, I had to hack the deckplate itself and trim its entire width to fit. Then I had to hack the airbox up to fit and now b.c of the orientationof the plate the air filter didnt wanna fit so I had to get creative.

I'll try and get some later today or tommorow-just took it in for an alignment in hopes of curing my braking problem (jerks left when you hit the brakes hard).

EDIT: Found some pictures of the box on ebay...My windshiled washer tank is mounted in a different spot though. The deckplate I installed is actually mounted on the box where thet windshield washer fluid is-right behind it on the box.

Thats what I have concluded, anyone got one for sale? Can you get me (or someone else) some good shots of it and how it attaches to the body? It would make life so mcuh easier.
