I really like those caps on the rims, sorry I can't help you on how to get them to stay.

Take out the circular metal ring, extend the tabs ( how?, not sure, solder, rivet, make complete new ring) anyway make the new tabs long enough to bend out and drill them to fit over the lugs and then bolt them down with the tire lugs. Of course the new tabs with have to be in behind the plastic tabs on there. Not sure if it will work but it's the only idea I can offer.

buy the metal crome ones that come with all kinds of rims. cut them down to size or keep them the same size so the out side diameter of the new ones fit inside the old ones. Trim all the tabs off your center caps and j/b weld or pop rivet them on

well the buyer fell through for the rims so...
yeah i like your idea maybe rivet some sheet metal to the tabs and bend the sheet metal at 90 degrees and bolt them down between the rim and the axel???

jb weld some magnets out of an old hard drive on both cap and hub, that way you can just pull it off when you need.

those magnets are SUPER tuff, that thing wont go anywhere.
