Clutch slipping when HOT

So I recently bought an 85 Runner with a 22R converted to EFI, lift, 35s etc.. the truck runs great around town to and from work no problems, I noticed a couple times after sitting in traffic for 30 - 40 mins once I was on the open road again the clutch would be slipping, I went and did some pretty knarly Wheeling on the weekend and when I was trying this step up I noticed the same thing, so I simply went around and it seemed to be fine for the rest of the trail. When I got back on the HWY I really had to feather the throttle or it would slip major. After 10 mins of HWY drving it was back to normal. So today I pulled the Trans only to discover a brand new Centerforce disc and Presure plate. No hot spots on the Flywheel or pressure plate, rear main is leaking (minor) no oil visuable on disc or flywheel.

any suggestions??

I'm maybe thinking the flex line is somehow collapsing under high heat??
Thanks to ANY input
~Blake

PS I'm not riding it

Check your slave cylinder.. it could be getting hot and holding the clutch open a bit. Was the pressure plate bolted up right and everything? That is strange...
