Cloths for cleaning interior

Hey all,

Now that my rig is back and freshly painted I want to be able to keep this thing in tip top shape, exterior is pretty simple, already got all the right ingrediants for that.

The interior is another story, the cleaner I use is the Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Protectant and its friggin awesome!

Only problem I have is that every cloth I have ever used for the inside has left some sort of lint behind, nothing serious of course just some residue that I have to blow off with compressed air, just gets kind of annoying.

I have some microfiber cloths from Griots Garage laying around in my shop and have yet to try those but other than that, well first off, do those work well? Second, other than those what do you guys suggest for a nice, lint free finish?

Thanks in advance,

Fink

Yeah I've seen them all over the place. I was just curious if they were the best thing to use as I have not tried them yet, will they leave any lint behind as long as I clean off all the dust on the dash and interior trim with my duster first?

Thanks for the reply man,

Fink

I use them too, but get them so dirty I would be afraid of screwing up my washer if I were to throw them in! Maybe the laundromat...

Well I tried out a pack of some cheap microfiber towels that I got at Wal-Mart today and they worked pretty well, caused a lotta static so some of the dirt was sticking to the plastic body panels but other than that they did a nice job!

On a side note, if you haven't tried the Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Protectant you need to, I love it! Doesn't leave behind a nasty slime and isn't overly shiny, it shines very well for about 30 minutes but once it gets absorbed its got a very nice sheen to it. Just thought I would throw that out there.

I use a sponge to put any dash shine/protectant on. It will make the dash look new as well as take off the dust.

Just a regular household sponge? Interesting...never even thought of that...

Well, I mean dust the dash off, but the sponge will take the lint off the dash when you are using the other protectant on it.
