close call!

I live in Colorado and the other day we had a rain storm that ended up turning into alot of ice. anyways I was on my way into town and I ended up slipping out of controll. during the slide I ended up going into the opposite lane and slammed my wheel into the curb pretty hard cause i think I was on two wheels for a bit. The side of my alloy wheel got scaped up pretty good but everything seemed to be OK. I jacked up the side that hit and tried to wiggle the wheel and look at stuff but it all seemed to be ok. today I noticed a bit of a smell that was like burnt breaks, it might have been my imagination though. Anyways I wanted to ask if there were some things that anyone thinks I could have messed up and that I should check??
I have a 99 4runner

Wow - glad you are ok! I might take your truck to an alignment shop and have them check it over. That is all I can think of right now...

im in Boulder. I might get the alignment checked a little later but it seems to be fine. I drove it about 65 and there was no vibration on any noise.
