Car care products other than Griots

With a new-to-me Corey Cable scheduled to arrive today (thanks Neil), I thought I'd better look around for some stuff to use with it. Coincidentally, a Griots catalog arrived in the mail yesterday. Its nice and all, but pricey.

Some folks on E46fanatics recommend stuff like Klasse, Menzerna, and Poorboys. Some stuff is similarly priced, some is less. Two recommended vendors from that site are www.ocdgarage.com and www.detailedimage.com . OCD Garage in particular has seemingly good deals on accessories, like foam pads:

Much cheaper when compared to Griots.

Bottom line, where else besides Griots do you shop for car care products and what brands do you prefer?

I've always sworn by Meguiars stuff. Not boutique like griots, but it's fine if you aren't doing car shows. Nice this is that most of the main stream stuff can be found at Target and the like. Some of the other stuff you might have to go to Autozone for... but it's not hard to find the stuff locally.

virtually dito what he said.

i buy virtually all my car care products (meguiars) at either the major parts places (advance AZ, O'relly) or walmart/target.

Gariots is good for the speciatly stuff, like wheel polishes and what not but you shoulding be going to THAT level of bling on your toyota... it just isnt right!

Check out www.autogeek.net

I've had really nice results with Klasse products. All In One and their Sealant Glaze.

Read up on www.autopia.org for a total breakdown of products and reviews.

Meguiar's here too. I use everything Meguiar's: car wash, cleaner wax, wax, leather cleaner and conditioner and tire gloss.

Tom, over the years I've used Zymol, Klasse, Meguars, P21S, 3M and Mothers on enamel and clearcoated paints from Europe, America and Japan. None worked as well, were easier to use, as long lasting and more economical as Griot's products when used with their applicator pads and a P-C. I've been hoping to run out of the stuff so I can try Zaino, but after a half-dozen or so cars and trucks over the past year, I'm still on the original bottle of wax.

thanks everyone. I have some Meguiars stuff in the garage right now. Neil included some Griots pads with the PC, and I do want their clay bar holder, so I guess I'll probably get some stuff from them too.
