Hahahaa, ill admit it since you posted it first and I dont feel like the only moron.
Yup, when i change my oil my truck feels great. I also notice when I wash it, it feels much better as well. And wow, when I wax it, the thing drives amazing.
Must be the reduction in friction. haha. man, i have issues.

well with the car wash its simple enuf. its probably tuned to sea level. when theres moisture in the air, it tends to run a little better. mine does the same thing. in fact since its raining here, (has been since last night) it seems to be runnin better than i have ever felt it run. and oil changes do help.

Same here, after a muddy or dusty day a good wash does make it feel as though the vehicle runs better. Same feeling when I change oil or clean the K&N air filter. And people laugh at me when i say i can feel a difference. Well at least I'm not alone.

I've noticed a small mpg gain, 1-2ish, after changing the oil. Never really noticed any difference in "seat o' the pants" power though. I did notice it when I first tried the STP oil treatment, I swear that got me 3-5 hp easy. Now a bottle of it goes in every 3000.
