Found it.

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/can-you-believe-happened-my-tjm-pics-91366/

THis did happen to lee's bumper but I have had no issues at all with mine.

Custom is what I would have done if I had both the time to be without my Runner and a shop I knew could pull off a quality bumper. Here in Socal there are lots of shops that do outstanding tube work because of all the desert machines but not one yet has stepped up for a flat stock unit with the exception of Bruce who is not building any lately.

4x4customs out in Snellville. I just got off the phone with him and he (Patrick) said from drive in to drive out with a tube bumper like I described (full hoops, similar to the Badland Basher, but not quite the same) would run me about $800 painting, mounting, BL accounted for all included. he was a very nice guy and basically said I can come in and we can sit down and work out exactly what I want and he'll build it. he said if i can draw it out he'll build it for me. i havent talked to the parents yet for some partial funding (a la christmas present) but at $800, i cant beat that price too much with a pre-made bumper + body lift modifications...

Its similar to the style you want plus its made for a 3" bodylift and you cant beat it at $275.

So I went and took a look at Alan's bumper and I like it a lot, its a good solid bumper. The only thing I have to do to make it bolt on is weld 4 plates into the frame to bolt on to (pictured). A buddy of mine is going to help me with the welding and cutting as I don't have access to any of those resources. Two questions though...do yall see a better way of mounting it at the ends of the frame rails? I hear those extensions are weak and if it's not much trouble, maybe a stronger way could be in order. Also, what thickness metal should I go with for the 4 plates when i'm buying the steel? thanks!

Since its not a winch setup that will probally be fine.. just do the cap plate mod from watrd.com when you do it... I would use 1/4"
