I'm looking to upgrade my brake booster on my 85 runner, i'm wondering which years and on what pickup's and 4runners was a dual booster standard? i'm going to be doing some junkyard hunting and need to know what to look for. TIA

 

89-95 V6 trucks and 4runners. Grab the master cylinder from the same truck while you're at it.

 

Mid '90s was when the dual diaphram boosters showed up. I got mine out of a '97 T100. Upgrading is a fine line, bigger booster w/ everything else stock can give you very touchy brakes. Best option is upgrading everything to keep it matched:

i have already done the IFS calipers, LC rotors and LC master cylinder. and my brakes still aren't that great. so now i was going to move on to the booster.
