Bedliner coating
My truck has a spray-in bedliner (brand unknown as of yet, emailed previous owner to find out). it likes to leave my hands black after i touch it and god forbid i sit anywhere on it with anything but dark pants...theyll be black when i get done. its kinda annoying because i always have to warn friends about that before they hop in the back. is anyone aware of any such coating that could be applied to it (either myself or professionally) kinda of like a clear-coat, that would essentially eliminate that? the lining is at least a few years old and has always done this and i've washed the truck many times. thanks!

Sounds like somebody sprayed undercoating onto the bed and not bedliner. Bedliner sets up like rubber. Best bet would be to remove the coating and respray it with herculiner or rhinoliner or equivilant.

ill see what the previous owner says it is. its definitely tough and doesnt let things slip around, but its not rubbery by any means. do any of yall with real bedliners have any issues with them leaving your hands/clothes black?
im trying to think of a similar-feeling material to compare it to but im having trouble doing that. it feels sort of like wall paint if you dont use gloss or anything. its rough and definitely not slippery or shiny
