Battery

Please give insight. I have a 2002 4Runner with 2 month old Optima red top battery. I went on vacation for 6 week. I did not set the alarm. When I got back I tried to start but the battery is dead. Is this normal? I have a 1989 4runner and I can let it sit for weeks and it starts fine. What the deal??? Thanks

No this is not normal. Sounds like somehting was a drain on your power while you were gone, lights, alarm, dorr craked, dome light, short in your harness somewhere, something went wrong here.
