Ball Joint Brand / Source

Some parts are ok from napa and the like and some are best from toyota. Do you use toyota parts or napa and the like off brands?

I would like to see replies from all years so everyone can benefit from this thread but i will be replacing the upper and lower ball joints on my 2002 4runner limited.

I'm going to replacing all of my BJs as well as the tie rods and after shopping around I think I'm sticking with Toyota OEM parts. they really aren't much more expensive and I know I won't be double guessing my purchase.

best price I've found so far was at toytotapartsales.com

When you put the order in just make sure you include your vin# and they will make sure it's correct. I just received all my stuff in the mail...

I used the Moog brand ball joints and tie rod ends on my 98 from Advance Auto parts and they are pretty heavy duty. Plus if you buy all Moog products you can ask for a 20% discount and they will give it to you..
