ARB Air Locker

This may seem like a stupid question, but does the ARB Air Locker replace all the gears inside my rear diff on my 1997 4runner?

No it doesn't replace the axle gears.

I drove to Tulsa to get my gears! US gear has a distributor on the NW side of Tulsa. Can't remember the name but go to the US gear site and they will help you find them: http://www.usgear.com/

Its ok, I lived there for a while. I can't install gears, I paid a shop to do it in OKC. It was about $250 to install the gears and ARB locker in the front. The shop has closed now, but the guy who did the install is working at my local Toyota dealer now, Dub Richardson Toyota.

Yeah, Shane was a great deal. Factory trained Toyota mechanic with lots of off-road experince and cheap prices. I was really sad when he shut down his shop.

Only if you want to ever use 4WD again. Oh I guess if you were just in some mud or something you could use 4WD with different ratios, but as soon as you hit dry ground you would bind up bad.
