anyone put a roofrack on there std cab pickup?

anyone ever think of putting one of those roofracks from a vw on the cab of there truck i think it might look cool if any of u have photoshop and have some time could u put one on one so i could see it thanks

let me know ur ideas and coments

I've seen it done, and I know you could find clips to fit your truck, but they do look a little goofy. I have seen people put one crossbar on their topper, and two over the cab (or two on the topper and one on the cab), which is nice for weight distribution if you keep your topper on most of the time. The price is right though, so it might be worth a try.

try an atv rack, light and cheap, my friend has one on his 90 regcab and it looks great, he keeps his 32x9.2 spare up there, ready for dakar

yea i was gunna put part on the topper im getting for free then i can haul my brand new $700 bike around without scratching it to and then take the topper off and still have the cool look of the front of the rack

my buddy has the same rack on his taco one on the cab and one on the topper it looks good on his.

I have also seen a guy around town with a basket on the cab part of his 1st gen 4runner when he has the top off. it is a smaller basket but it looked goo on the truck as well

the price they are asking is a pretty good deal.

Pics of atv rack

Here are the pics of the atv rack, the side fold down with lock pins, hockey pucks for spacers (I know "HOW CANADIAN CAN YOU BE) but there are made of great rubber lol.,
