anyone done a flat bed?

i want to remove my stock truck bed and put a flat bed in. anyone done this? am i gonna have to do a custom job or is there a place i can buy a kit or something.


i want to mount the spare tires at a angle on top of it. for looks lol.

found a yota on ebay with a utility bed on it. It still had room for hauling stuff but also had the side boxes for storage. Just a thought

PRice will vary depending on what kind of materials you use.
DOM is more expenisve then HREW.
Diamond Plate tends to be more expensive then regular old flat stock.
Thickness of material plays a roll in the price too.

I've been told that I can have a bed done for $500 with HREW and flat stock. However I want to use 1.75" OD .120" wall DOM and diamond plate so that price will likely be higher.

Sorry I cant help you with a price. I worked at a welding shop and we built one and I dunno what it cost. It was very heavy duty and USUALLY buliding it is less than purchasing. Good luck tho.
