98 Taco 3RZ Coolant Drain Plug

So my weekend project has gone south...

While removing the engine block coolant drain plug i found a problem. The plug is partially out, but now only spins. It wont go back in either. Not sure what to do next. A slight trickle of fluid is weeping from the bolt now. Any thoughts?

If the threads are jacked up, Drain it well, dry it well, Ultra Black or Ultra Copper silicone it, allow it to dry, refill and check it out. Or you can JB Weld it in permanently. Or you could replace the block...

Though remember, it needs some type of mechanical hold (threads) or it could blow out under normal operating coolant temps, which is several PSI. So if its that bad, JB Weld may be your only option.
