With a welder, anything is possible. I have a 95+ scoop welded in and opened up (none of the trim and cosmetic pieces and open behind the hole underneath) on the hood on my Pathfinder. If I get ahold of another wrecked scoop hood to cut up, the 4runner will have one as well.

 

Were did you get that hood or did it come on it?

They original plan was to cut the hood, and make these functional....7 years later, and I still just havent got around to it yet

 

you should have put the scoops the other way, with the two "tips" close together..

 

That hood is sick!!! I tried searching google for a carbon fiber hood, but couldn't find one, where did you get yours?
