3.0 Daily Driver/Trail Rig w/over 200k miles

As I rack up the miles on my 17 year old 3.0, I often ponder to myself:

Who else has a 3.SLOW and approaching 200K as their daily driver as well as trial rig?? Hmmmmmm

I plan on driving my 3.0 until it decides its hand enough. Then it will probably be the 3.4 swap, or maybe a 4.3 depending on how long the 3.0 can hold out so the Engine Swap fund can continue to grow.

Just curious.

I had a 91 v6 for a short period of time and it had 197K, not an issue if the maintenance is good, and the HG problem has been fixed.

My 89 didn't qualify for the HG rcall, but it seems to be just fine.

i have a 91 with i think 185,XXX on it right now, i plan on breaking 200k probably in the next 6 or8 months, we road trip a lot with buddies of mine. canada, vermont, nc, sc, who knows where we will end up this year.
i actually changed my mind to lifting it and im gonna keep the stock or near stock lift, but upgrade the suspension all around, i have pretty good clearance for the offroading we do here, not much rock crawling. i might add a rear locker, def would be a plus, but that will all come next summer, for now, its all preventative maintnence, and upgrades, next year will be when i get into the bigger stuff

I have a '93 3.0 and I have 201K on it. It's my DD and I have done some minor trails, I will be wheeling it a lot this spring when I move back to the Seattle area. I'm kinda in the same boat, gonna ride this motor till I need to swap her. But Im thinking 1UZ cause I'm auto and a smog legal V8 sounds cool.

My '93 P/u which is SAS and some other stuff done to it is pushing 250k and is my daily driver and my wheeler. In fact my wife and I went to NJ and back from Ohio in it to go wheeling in the Pine Barrens while we visited her folks.

I have 180k or so on my 88 3.0, and up until a few months ago it ran top notch. Fuel injectors got clogged with some nasty sediment. Replaced the injectors and fuel filter (along with water pump and tbelt) and she runs like a champ now.

I have a 93 4rnr that I bought 2 years ago with 160k miles.
I use it as both a daily driver and my hunt truck and she now has 177K
she looks pretty when washed up and still gets it on the trail.
I would not hesitate to drive this vehicle from coast to coast.
