If you don't plan on rebuilding any engines in the future, a 750 engine stand will work. I bought a 1200 lb engine stand since I'll be rebuilding the 389 out of my 59 Pontiac. That engine is a monster compared to the little 22re!!

I know two of us carried a 22R into the back of a truck and neither one of us is a body builder or anything. I can't imagine it was any more than 350 lbs or we wouldn't have been able to do it. Even that would probably be a stretch.
