22r idleing

ok i have 1987 pick up.. i just put motor in .. its runs pretty good but will not idle when you first start it ... but once it warms up it idles ok.... i have a weber carb on it... i have new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor on it.... also the exhaust coming off the manifold to the exhaust does it have a metal gasket and a donut gasket? and you think i should put a manual choke on the carb for the cold mornings?

is there a single wire that goes to the passenger side of the carb? Do you have voltage there?

This is typical carburetor stuff, not exactly toyota related and the weber is definitely not factory.

Sorry can't help with the exhaust gasket as I have a header on my truck. Might want to look on toyotapartszone.com for some part numbers and diagrams. And see if you can find what it has from that.

Autozone.com might also be able to tell you what is there.
