You may have noticed if using the stock theme here (YotaTech Extreme With sizable fonts) that the toolbar is gone at the top.
If you select any other theme, it will be there.

However you can access lots of info in the upper right corner under your name with the stock theme, but the "New Posts" feature is missing, and I know many use that including myself on many forums I belong too.

This will be fixed before long...

 

Just noticed this myself. Glad you're bringing back "new posts!"

 

i thought it was just me with that problem, and my computer messing with me, again...

Thanks, but the tech team is working on this one.
There are still a lot of bugs with it, and if you prefer the old toolbar, just use a different theme from the bottom left corner.

now the "todays posts" link is missing from the dropdown links option under the username in the upper right hand corner as well as the other missing stuff.
tried different fonts with no change.

i think my computer hates me...

Do you want the other one too that shows all of the posts for a 24 hour period?

Log in. Then log out. Today's Posts will suddenly be there. Click it once, and it will take you to them. Then disappear until you log out again.

 

Now it's vanished altogether. No "Today's Posts" whatsoever. Not anywhere, at any time. Completely gone. WTF?

The "Today's Posts" feature is crucial here. It's what makes this site easily usable. Without it, this site is all but useless. With a ton of recent/daily posts and no way to easily navigate to and from them. And no, "New Posts" is not the same thing. It doesn't do squat in comparison. I almost never use it. I've always used "Today's Posts" instead, many many many times a day/per visit. And now it's MIA.

This is no good...no good at all.

O.k., so not "anywhere at any time". But still...why make things so difficult? What was the big deal with the way it was? Why fix what ain't broke?

 

It's some sort of programing bug. I live with an IT analyst and I hear about this stuff all day. It's job security. Last week a "programing glitch" caused my Visa card to come unconnected to my Bank of America account and the programing error was diagnosed from my house hold. THAT was very inconvenient for a day. THIS is minor.


Just scroll all the way down the page and find the little white box on the left. Select "dyslexic friendly" from the drop down menu and you'll have a white background and the Today's Post will be back. I'm sure we'll hear when it's safe to go back to the regular background.
