Hmm... an interesting request just came in via my in-box. I was asked if I could dynamically round the corners of the images a bit to give the banner a more "finished" appearance.

The answer is yes. When the script creates the image, I can overlay a mask over the images. I will mock up a version of it tomorrow and you guys (especially Corey) can decide if it looks better. I am interested in seeing what it looks like myself. I suspect it might look good.

Any dupes for anyone? I thought not! HA!

Remember... If anyone wants to play with the banner and watch the images, don't keep refreshing the whole page - it loads up the server more than necessary. Just click on the link below and keep refreshing the resulting page.

I was a 1st class Boy Scout growing up, and morse code was one thing I was very interested in back then.

We use to use it on our Walkie Talkies back in the 60s to communicate too with others.

I would argue that it's hardly "useless banter" if it contains information that you require, but that's a thread for another day.

You are welcome.

All the info you needed was in the very first post in this thread.

Rob, thanks for sending the new script for the rounded corners.

Sure. With enough code, I can do almost anything you can in photoshop via PHP. This is being done with an .png overlay where everything is transparent except the corners, effectively creating a mask.

And before anyone complains, I will be providing Corey with an assortment of masks so that he can decide which he likes, if any.
