But can you do it in Z-28?

I LIKE the "humorous" center section pics that change.

How bored is that? I am mutli-tasking, writing banner code in one window, debugging code in another window and surfing forums in yet another...

anyone else not too fond of the curly writing for the "Yotatech off road or around the block" looks kinda ghey to me, doesn't really fit with trucks and the rest of the banner

Not all of the center pics are perms.
Remember, we are playing around testing it out still

Okay, Corey has the revised code that will not allow a repeat of the same picture in any single rendering of the banner.

As Corey mentioned, things are still in "beta", so submit some new centerpiece images to him so we don't have to use the demo images... I know it's more work than just voting on what you don't like, but it really is more productive

i'm still seeing doubles... very rarely, but about 1 in maybe 10 or 15 times, theres 2 of the same pics up there, and its different users everytime. maybe people submitted the same pictures twice? or is it the code?

...yes i'm bored enough to hit F5 and look for doubles...

That's quite likely since it's still the old code while we are waiting for Corey to roll out the new bits

I am sure Corey will post when the new bits are up and ready for you to challenge them.

Challenge away, the new code has only been in place for two minutes.
Thanks Rob...

Okay, so my plate is clean now... as things go, that will be the last version. That is unless I hear of more requests, they are something that Corey wants and something that I can do, or if someone finds a bug in the existing implementation.

Rob, I have one more request.
Code added to grab into the iTunes store and make a new MP3 play here each time the banner refreshes

hahhahahah That would be easier than you know... at least the music playing part. Tying into iTunes would be a bit more work.

Oh yeah, I have had Media Player setup here before to play MP3s off of my site, and also off of an Internet Radio site to stream in.
Grabbed their code and it played perfectly in the thread.

Figured I would throw something out, how about this?
Right now it is not properly formatted for the size, but if you guys like it, I can try to resize it, or you can.

the font I used looks familiar, I hope its not the same font that the old banner was, just picked it out of apple's pages because I thought it looked good!
