zuk mod question

Think I am going to do the zuk mod to my 90 pickup longbed. I have 3'' blocks back there now and hate them. My question is, What length springs would I need to keep it about the same height. The 12 or 14''? Also is there anyway to tell if my torsion bars have been adjusted by PO? Thanks again.

Cant comment about the ZUK Mod, but if the front doesnt have any bracket lift or ball-joint spacers, then if the lower control arms are parallel or almost parallel to the ground, the T-bars have probably never been cranked. Or just a little bit.

I have 4" blocks in the rear, I bought the 100lb 14" black magic springs, should do the trick.

I used Jeep TJ front springs for my ZUK. They are 14" to start. I cut mine down to 12". You could try with 14", see how it looks, then cut them down if needed. You could cut the black magics too. FYI cutting the springs changes the spring rate (makes em stiffer). My cut TJ springs make the rear pretty stiff when empty but it can handle a load without sagging.

I agree.... specify 100 pounders when ordering 2 of them. You'll like the soft ride also

If I install a 4'' bracket lift, would the 14's still work for 4'' in rear?

Yes.....but I'd up it with the 14 x 125 pounders just for that extra lift. They are still soft riding coils.
