lift kits
I have a 85 4runner sr5 with factory straight axle and was wondering if a lift for a 85 pickup would fit the same. It's harder to find a small lift for the runner than a truck and the truck ones are a little better on the wallet. All i need is a 3 or 4 inch with the springs cause mine are shot

yes they are pretty much the same if i recall correctly.. might notice some more rear end squat on the runner though cause its ass heavy compared to the pickup, or you might not..
you have choices of ome aka old man emu (pricey, no welding, bolt on), pro comp/rancho generic (bolt on, cheap, stiff, not much flex) or trail gear special (need welding skills, pricey) or junkyard method (63" chevy leaf springs and make your own front leaf pack from two rear leaf sets from a toyota)
myself i have a pro comp/rancho 3" lift to fit my 33" tires. its cheap and gets the job done...its stiff (handles a bit better i guess) and won't flex like crazy but it'll be enough on a budget if you just want a lift

Yea i just really need new leafs, mine are flat as hell and i can get a lift for the same price as 4 new leafs. I'm already running 32s so i just want cheap so i don't break a leaf. I can weld but this is just my woods runner so i don't need to dump money into it even tho is kinda a rare 4runner.
