Yotatech Garage Meet-Ups?

I looked through a few threads, tried searching, then figured the best place to post this question was in the newbie section. Cuz hey...
<---- Newb

So, my question is, is there anyone that does a Yotatech meet-up in the Airdrie / Calgary area? By that I mean, a few gear-heads getting together to work on their Toyota's with some like-minded company? (If I missed a thread pertaining to this, point me to it).

Why am I asking?

Because I have wanted to learn how to maintain my old 4Runner without having to rely on a mechanic shop, and without being worried I'm going to bust something and put it out of commission for a while. I don't have a spare vehicle to rely on. I'd really like to get to know the vehicle, the tools involved etc., before I try my hand at monkeying with anything. I figured the best way to learn, would be to get some experience by seeing how it's done first-hand.

Any groups like that out there?

try the YotaTech Regional Forums - go to the one for your area and post this up. Toyotas are EVERYWHERE, have a strong following, and many people do their own repairs. I think you can definitely find a local group to wrench with. This concept is pretty much the reason why YotaTech exists.
