won't start up!

won't start up!
Howzit outdea! kinda new at posting questions on the forums so bare with me...
so... anyways.... i have a 91' toy pick-up, v6 4x4, it wouldn't start first crank just a click noise is all i would hear, so i would get ot of my truck tap the starter a couple of times and then it would start up. so i just recently bought a new starter and it does the same thing. My starter fuse is still good, and that is where i stopped because i do not know where to look after that. if anybody outdea coud give me any advice, i would much appreciate. Much mahalo's!
