i got a 95 4runner and i lowered the left rear passeger window. and when i tryed to raise it back up it didnt move. but the window still works cause it will go down but its like somthing is causing it to hold back when i try to put it up could it be just the motor? . what is causing this problem and how can i fix it?

 

I got the same problem, after trying for 3-4 times, it was all good. I dunno what happened, however, I can tell that there must be some kinda problem with holder. I think, I will have to check this with their local supervisor.

 

Pop the rear door panel off.

There are two screws hidden under the caps in the arm rest. Remove them and the one in the door handle. Slide the door handle towards the front of the truck to remove it from the door and pop off the metal rod from its plastic clip. The panel needs to be pried loose at the bottom from its clips and lifted up. Carefully remove the inner plastic liner and you'll see your window track. It might be obstructed by something or pinched somehow. You can watch its travel and have a better idea where it's getting hung up.

 

thanks for the info i took apart the door panel and it seemed there was nothing caught but i put some grease on the window track and it works fine now
