Question

will a W56 bolt to a 22R?

Will a W56 trans/tcase (1989 pickup, 22RE) bolt up to a 22R engine (1983 pickup)? Is the engine the same except for the EFI stuff.

Just curious.

Yes a W56 will bolt up, but no the engine is not the same except for efi stuff.
